NEXT TIME YOU VISIT PLUS, DISCOVER THREE TERRIFIC NEW ADDITIONS TO BALLPARK NEIGHBORHOOD

Wells Seafood Market, a small independently owned business has just opened up at 2532 Champa Street, just a few blocks West of the gallery.  They carry various seafood salads as well as fresh fish to take home and other things one might need to whip up some quick hors d'oeuvres. The owner's name is Chad Wells and  he's super friendly and helpful. Last time we checked, they were open until 8:00pm every day except Sunday.

In addition, Otto's American Grill will be opening soon at 2200 Market Street, joining a burgeoning culinary scene just south of the gallery, along with Marcos Pizzeria and Twelve Restaurant.  Also of great note is the new Hi-Rise Bakery that just opened at 2200 Larimer Street, enhancing the neighborhood even further.  Now is the time to get out and support the developments that are turning the ballpark neighborhood into one of the most enticing districts in the city.

FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO KNOW WAY MORE THAN THERE IS TO KNOW.........

Plus Gallery owner Ivar Zeile was asked to answer a number of questions prior to the reopening of the gallery. The interviewee is none other than Qi Peng, artist, writer for Salt Lake City's Examiner online news, and one of the most visible members ever on facebook. Peng delves a bit into the history of the gallery as well as some of the more creative facets relating to the growth of a contemporary aesthetic. It's long, but split into two sections, at the following links:
