Leanne Goebel's Art Writer blog was just awarded First Place in the Top of the Rockies regional contest hosted by the Society of Professional Journalists. The contest was open to all members of the SPJ in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Wyoming and received 508 entries in multiple categories for 2010. The judges said of Goebel's Art Writer blog that "this blog is unique, helpful to a variety of artists, had good archives and multi-media." We fully agree and recommend you get on her beat, it is so important for Denver's art scene that people start paying attention to it as it deserves.
