WHITING SCULPTURES MAKE EXCELLENT ADDITION TO THE DOWNTOWN DENVER LANDSCAPE

We've posted installation images of Mike Whiting's new exhibition "Primitives" online at the Plus Gallery website.  Thanks to all who came out for the opening of this remarkable show and to celebrate the installation of Whiting's mammoth "Rhino" at the corner of Broadway and Larimer. The massive Rhino is not the only work by Mike Whiting to get selected for the now blossoming public-art park at the foot of the River North Arts District.  Whiting's 2007 sculptures "Pinkie" and "Mr. Green" were installed out in the plaza of the Benjamin Moore Loft Complex at the corner of Walnut and Broadway, adding an exceptional glow to that corner of downtown Denver.  The final work of art scheduled for installation, Mike Mancarella's "One Way," should be materializing shortly, stay tuned for more details.
