Allie Pohl's recent "Peacocking" sculptures will debut next week at Galerie 102 in Ojai, California, in the two person exhibition "Peacocks in Flight" opening March 8th. The gallery will host a reception for the artists on Saturday March 8th from 4-6pm.
Pohl was also recently featured in the Winter issue of the Hamilton Alumni Review, under the headline "Young Entrepreneurs turn risk into reward. Go Allie!
Kathryn Wingard reports on the recently opened NCECA Ceramic Arts Invitational now taking place at the Milwaukee Art Museum and featuring Plus Gallery artist Tsehai Johnson's "Swarm" as well as works by other top ceramic artists in the field.

The McNichols Civic Center hosts the 25th Anniversary of Open
Press Studios with an exhibition featuring a number of notable local
and national artists, including Plus Gallery veterans Dave Yust and
Doris Laughton Smith. The exhibition opens with a reception this
Friday, February 28th from 5:30-8pm and will remain on view through
April 12th.
Monkeytown 4 commences tomorrow evening and will continue for a three-month run at 3545 Larimer St., offering an absolutely unique dining/art experience for the first time ever outside of NYC. We plan on being amongst the first to check it out and will report back with more later.

We recently received word that Plus Gallery artist Jenny Morgan
will have her first exposure in a national contemporary art museum.
Details will likely be withheld till later this year, but it's true
and about time!
Plus Gallery will be closed from March 2nd through March 13th.
We will reopen on the evening of March 13th with the reception for the
collaborative exhibition "Transitional Fragments" by Denver
artists Chris Coleman and Laleh Mehran.
