Is your mom cool? If so, you'll want to stop by Plus
Gallery and acquire some of the unique jewelry by our featured artist
Kristin Stransky, who offers up a signature line of necklaces,
bracelets, earrings and brooches. All are made from
revolutionary new 3D printing techniques, no two are alike and they
are very well priced. The line itself relates to Stransky's
ever-expanding "SentiHubs" wall in the exhibition
"common / myth," on view now through May 24th. And if
your mom is super-cool, you may want to consider getting her an
"EmotiScan" headpiece that allows her to sample the
inner-core of her brain as a generative sound design. Slightly more
expensive than the jewelry but these striking gems are absolutely
worth every penny.
Recent visitors to Plus Gallery have also been enjoying
Stransky's interactive station #youDidntMeanWhatYouSay located on the
second floor. That piece will be moving offsite this Saturday
for the Culturehaus event "Banner - The Art of Light" taking
place that evening at Battery 621 @ 621 Kalamath St. The
signature fundraising event for the organization brings the art of
light to life through music, design, a visual glow in the dark fashion
show by Art Shoes and an interactive video game by OhHeckYeah.
