From the "Societe Perriere" website: Up-and-coming Brooklyn, NY-based artist Jenny Morgan's work has been resonating in the art world for the past two years or so. The vulnerability conveyed in her portraits is captivating and honest, and Morgan carefully uses color to bring out her subjects' character on canvas. In addition to her recent exhibition, "Jenny Morgan: One and the Many," Morgan has secured several portraiture commissions from the New York Times Magazine and New York Magazine and was also featured on the cover of art ltd. Société Perrier met up with this amazing talent at Like the Spice Gallery in Williamsburg for an introduction to her work, inspiration and hopes for the future:
