ALLIE POHL'S LATEST "CARYATID" FEATURED IN FLORIDA'S "ART ON THE GREEN" OUTDOOR EXHIBITION

We can't think of anything in the world more tantalizing than coming across Allie Pohl's latest "Ideal Woman - Fuscia Caryatid" sculpture composed of her trademark Ideal Woman forms in chrome, particularly in a beautiful outdoor park-setting. It's almost too good to believe, but that's what folks in the city of Winter Park Florida will get to experience from now though March 1st of 2013 as part of their prestigous juried program "Art on the Green."  Eight sculptural works by artists from around the country are on display in Central Park and on the lawn of City Hall in downtown Winter Park. The works on view were selected by curator Olga Viso, Rollins College graduate and executive director of the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. Along with Allie's spectacular sculpture, the exhibition features works by Russell Bellamy, Doug Makemson, Dale Rogers, Carolina Sardi, Chris Scala, Barbara Sorensen and Bill Woods.

This is just another notch in Allie's impressively growing belt.  She is also currently involved in a more intimate, yet thoroughly Allie, installation of new photographs in ?Hot Seat? at the Bano Gallery inside Blicher Gallery in Los Angeles.  The fact that the venue happens to be the bathroom in the gallery in no way detracts from the caliber of her work, take a look at
