Last week the city installed a B-cycle station right next to Plus Gallery at the Benjamin Moore Plaza on Broadway and Walnut. We could not be happier with this surprise, as the program will allow members to share bikes and make their way to destinations throughout downtown and select locations around denver. Here's what we gleaned about the program online:
This spring, Denver B-cycle will launch a city-wide bike-sharing program with up to 50 stations offering up to 500 bikes in Denver's downtown and nearby neighborhoods (including Cherry Creek and the DU campus). Denver B-cycle will prove to be the cheapest, easiest way to get around the Mile High City. Give it a try.
Annual memberships are $65. But if you preregister by March 31st you'll only pay $55 for the year. If you're a student and have a .edu email address, you can save $15 off the preregistration price to make it $40 for the whole year. Just enter "early student" as the promo code in the registration form to receive the discount.
And once you're up and running with your membership, there is no charge for the first 30 minutes of every ride. (Nominal charges will apply for longer rides.)

The system launches on Thursday April 22nd with 500 bikes and 40-50 stations, including next to Plus!
