Plus Gallery tapped into serious talent from our neighbor Canada, both Brendan Tang and Alex McLeod have proven to be two of the hottest rising contemporary artists on the international scene today. As a result of our effort for the Biennial of the Americas, Tang and McLeod have started their own collaboration, the first image of which was recently posted on facebook.
Tang's ceramic works just left the gallery today for the Denver Art Museum, where they will emerge June 11th for the exhibition "Marvelous Mud: Clay without Limits" that will take over the museum. We are thrilled that a larger audience will have the opportunity to view these unique works that we initially brought in for last year's Denver Biennial of the Americas.
Alex McLeod continues to dominate in the press, he is currently featured in Elle Canada, alongside major canadian sensation David Altmejd who some of you might remember from the inaugural exhibition at the MCA Denver in 2008. McLeod's works can still be seen here at Plus Gallery, they are definitely unlike anything else currently on the market.
