No stranger to attention from art publications, Brendan Tang just sent us the cover for the upcoming Galleries West edition that features one of his latest ceramic works. We'll be posting the text and images from this excellent profile to our blog soon, otherwise it is available on request as a pdf. Tang will be in Denver for a few days in early June for the opening of "Overthrown: Clay without Limits" at the Denver Art Museum. There is still time to procure his "Manga Ormolu 5.0.a" sculpture, it is not only an exquisite work of art but now highly collectible. Almost all of Tang's works of this scale have been sold to collectors and museums in the past six months, obviously there is something other markets are feeling about his work that is not being reflected by Denver's collector base, but we are pretty certain he is as hot an acquisition as one can make today.
