Plus Gallery artist Xi Zhang continues to pile up the accolades, this time as one of the top ten artists under 35 in Colorado. The recognition is no surprise, critic Kyle MacMillan having distinguished Xi previously as both a Pathmaker in the visual arts in 2010 as well as the top emerging artist in the region in 2008; nevertheless, the continual reinforcement of quality and forward thinking contemporary art that resides in the area is welcome in all regards, we hope that everyone recognizes the talent that Denver is breeding at all levels and that is making our scene one that is worth engaging with.
