JEAN ARNOLD INVITED TO EXHIBIT IN NYC BY RENOWNED ARTIST CHARLES CAJORI

We just found out that Charles Cajori, an East Coast painter and 2001 Guggenheim Fellowship recipient, has invited current Plus Gallery featured artist Jean Arnold to participate in an “artists’ choice” group show at Lohin Geduld Gallery in New York City. Cajoli has one of those careers that few artists attain, with additional awards over the years including the Benjamin Altman Figure Prize, the Louis Comfort Tiffany Award, the Ranger Fund Purchase Award, a Fulbright Grant and an NEA Grant. His work is in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY, the Hirshhorn Museum, Washington, DC and Whitney Museum of American Art, NY.

Those who have visited to see "Onrush" at Plus Gallery will have no problem understanding why she'd be receiving invitations such as this. Her canvases are full of life, depth and a color palette that is simply breathtaking to behold.
