Though the category may seem to have been fashioned for the times, another Plus Gallery artist was given an award in the recent Westword Best Of issue. Lauri Lynnxe Murphy is never anything but a creative dynamo, and recently she has used the latest in technology to create a art-book that doesn't necessarily relate to her typical artistic output but obviously shows her eye for composition and art. And of course the Westword has recognized this skill and declared her "American Dream: Portraits of Things" as the "Best Coffee Table Book by a Local Artist."
