Plus Gallery artist Mike Whiting culminated his current teaching residency with the Long Beach Arts Council in California with a collaborative project that incorporated youth from the local Dooley Elementary School. His pixelated sea creatures are constructed out of solid concrete and covered in tiles painted with seascapes by the children from the school. We congratulate Mike on his latest works and another excellent addition to the public landscape in the US.
